Chandigarh/Ludhiana, December 26, 2012: Police have arrested one person in connection with an alleged assault on AIG of Police (Counter Intelligence), Ludhiana Range SS Mand in a restaurant at Ludhiana on Monday late night.
This has been officially confirmed by Punjab Deputy Chief Minister, Sukhbir Singh Badal while talking to media persons on the sidelines of a function at Chandigarh today.
Referring to incident in Ludhiana, Badal said that no body, at whatsoever position would be allowed to take law in his hand.
The deputy chief minister said Punjab Police has already arrested one accused Amaninder Singh alias Aman and hunt is on to arrest other two accused namely Maninder Pal Singh and Rishi Banda.
