Arya College wins overall trophy in four-day youth festival

Ludhiana, October 6, 2015: Arya College, Ludhiana won the overall trophy in four-day Panjab University Youth & Heritage festival Ludhiana Zone-A on Tuesday. The students of Kamla Lohtia Sanatan Dharam College brought laurels for their college by winning more than one dozen prizes in the various events organized during the four-day Youth & Heritage festival from October 3 to 6. The star attraction of the Youth & Heritage festival was the entry and participation of boys from Host College in the events, which were otherwise previously reserved for girls only such as Guddian Patole, Classical Dance, Eeenu Making, Khiddo and Phulkari. The Principal of the College, Dr. Shiv Mohan Sharma and managing committee members Dr. B.D. Budhiraja, former, Dean Colleges, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Dr Shiv Mohan Sharma, principal of college and other members of management, Sunil Aggarwal, Dharampal Jain, Senior Vice President, Sandeep Aggarwal, Vice-President, Brij Mohan Ralhan, Vice-President, R.D. Singhal, General Secretary, Rajesh Mittal, Secretary, Shaman Jindal, Cashier, Sandeep Jain, Manager and executive members appreciated efforts of the students for participating and winning prizes in the festival. They also appreciated untiring efforts of the college staff in making the four day youth festival a great success.
