The team of sixteen students, under the supervision of Dr. Manisha Sharma from the department of Commerce was send off on Monday by Principal, Dr. Sucharita who wished them luck and expressed the hope that the students would add prestige to the country's image.
Jalandhar, January 13, 2015: Known as the pivot of academic excellence and pride of Northern India, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar has always stressed the need of providing a global edge to its students. Striving in the same direction, the college is taking its students to National University of Singapore Research Institute, Suzhou, China for a Winter Immersion Programme. During the course of two weeks stay the students will be involved in various activities such as lectures, industrial visits, cultural activities and business studies. It is for the first time that students from a Jalandhar based college will be a part of such a venture in China. Earlier students from Apeejay had visited Chengdu Textile College in China which is a signatory of MOU with Apeejay Education Society. This visit has been planned with the view to broaden the intellectual horizons and to impart an International platform for the youngsters of today who would be chiselled into competent professionals of tomorrow.
