Apeejayites grab overall trophy in Zonal Youth Festival 2016

Jalandhar: Feelings of ecstasy spread on the faces of Apeejayites while they grabbed the overall trophy of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar’s Zonal Youth Festival 2016. Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar has become the champion of Youth Festival for 17th time by showcasing the artistic talents of its brilliant participants. Known for preserving the heritage and culture of the nation, Apeejay has produced many versatile artists who gained their first experience by participating in Youth Festivals. On this glorious accomplishment, all the students wholeheartedly thanked Principal Dr. Sucharita who always stands as become of inspiration.
Principal Dr. Sucharita congratulated all the winners and said Apeejay has always paved the way for young aspirants to touch the pinnacles of glory. She also thanked Dr. Arun Mishra and Dr. Amita Mishra for their industrious efforts in polishing the raw talents of the students. She said it was a matter of pride that all the compositions were the efforts of the students.
Dr. Jagjeet Kaur, Director, Youth Welfare Department, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar highly commended the performances of the College students. She said when teams of Apeejay perform on the stage they win the hearts of many with their efficient performances.
