Apeejay College of Fine Arts Champion for 17th time in GNDU Youth Festival

Jalandhar: Known for excellence in the spheres of culture and art, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar won the Champion Trophy in the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar’s Youth Festival for 17th time. Registering total supremacy right from Day I, the students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts put up an incomparable competition which no other college could vie with, the students of the College performed the roles of participants and accompanists all on their own. The students who made special contribution in making Apeejay numero uno are--Anadi Mishra, Satvinderpal Singh, Rajdeep, Jeevan and Subdil. Unique guidance of the teachers and the students’ untiring efforts helped Apeejay carve a distinct niche in the Inter Zonal Youth Festival. Overall Trophy, Music Trophy, Fine Arts Trophy, Folk Dance Trophy, Folk Orchestra Trophy, Literary Trophy (1st Runner up) have been bagged by Apeejay. The victory bears the testimony that the Apeejayites are the star-performers of their fields.
Principal, Dr. Sucharita, expressing her elation, said that the grand victory be dedicated and attributed to the devotion of the students. The fresher students are reservoir of latent-talents, all that the college does is to identify it, polish it and impart a befitting launching pad for upward flight. She showered accolades onto Dr. Arun Mishra, Advisor, Cultural Affairs, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar Dr. Amita Mishra, Head, Department of Music, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, the pillars in-chief behind all this grand show victory. She congratulated one and all and also hoped to reap the harvest of excellence in the years to come.
