Anurag Thakur seeks President's rule in Himachal Pradesh

Dharamshala, August 30, 2017: BJP MP (Hamirpur) and Leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party Shri Anurag Thakur demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh for the alleged "conspiracy" to investigate the case of the murder of Himachal's "Gudiya". To remind, all the members of the SIT constituted by the Himachal Government has been arrested by the CBI after the Central Agency took cognizance in the investigation process of the Gudiya Murder Case. Thakur said, “The CBI arrested the entire team, including the IG of SIT, which raises a question mark over the State Government's intent. Was Virbhadra desirous of giving justice to the "Gudiya" or vanishing the evidence in the case to protect the Guilty?”
Anurag Thakur questioned If the Himachal Government has "used" the Himachal Police to remove the evidence of the killing of "Gudiya"?
Thakur said, "The Gudiya's Case is a black Spot on Himachal and the Himachal state government was trying to save the accused instead of punishing the guilty. Sadly, instead of sharing the grievances of the family of the deceased, wife of the Chief Minister on meeting the victim pressurized her for not conducting a CBI inquiry into the matter.”
BJP leader said that Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh is busy doing "setting" in Delhi to save his political shift away from the current developments in the state. It is a matter of tragedy that the name of Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh was no more limited to corruption, but now has become the defender of the accused in the assassination of Himachal's Gudiya. Virbhadra Singh has hurt the dignity of the office of the Chief Minister and hence he has no right to be the head of this beautiful-peaceful state.
Thakur said that he has been raising the issue from the streets to the corridors of the Parliament. He expressed confidence, with the CBI arresting the members of the SIT, the family of Gudiya will get Justice. “Now, It is the right time that the Chief Minister should resign and President's rule should be imposed in Himachal Pradesh", said Anurag.
