Ludhiana, May 23, 2015: The students of B.C.M Senior Secondary School, Sector 32 A, Ludhiana who are always aiming for higher goals and achieve great heights, had a peep into the world of heavenly bodies on May 21 and 22. An assemblage of students in the school play ground were shown the Moon , The Jupiter and The Venus through telescopes by a team from Science City which had come all the way from Jalandhar for this purpose.
The students were elated and wonder-struck to see the stars so closely. “We have seen these planets in our science books but seeing them through telescope was an altogether altered experience”, said Raj Saini, a student of IX class.
