AAP to organise drug awareness seminar and clean and green drive on Aug 3

Ludhiana, August 2, 2014: The Aam Aadmi Party is organising two events on August 3, one is Seminar on De Addiction at Bachat Bhawan (Time 9.30 AM- 12.30 PM) and another is Clean and Green Drive near Sanet Phatak (Railway Crossing), Time 3.00 PM to 4.30 PM.

Both events are to be presided over by Aam Aadmi Party Spokesperson, H.S.Phoolka. An Expert Panel of Doctors, Psychiatrists and Naturopaths will be addressing the audience and throw light on various drug related topics including methods of de-addiction and the harmful effects of drugs on various parts of the body.

According to a statement issued by AAP Ludhiana team: “With this seminar we hope to raise awareness about the disease called drug addiction which is eating up our whole generation of Punjabis. If we do not control this rising menace which has already reached alarming portions, the consequences will be highly tragic for our State of Punjab. And to create more awareness and find ways and means to fight this battle against drugs we are organising this seminar. We need each Ludhianvi to participate in this endeavor to make sure our young men and women fulfill their potential instead of succumbing to the haze of drug induced stupors”.
