Jalandhar, March 9, 2016: DAV College students have really done it by creating a new history with the students of MA economics first semester occupying first 9 positions in the university first semester exams. This is in itself an exclusive record, that the same college booked all the 9 University positions in the semester exams .The entire institution is feeling indeed gratified at this golden achievement. Principal Dr BB Sharma quoted “I am immensely proud of you all. This department has been the best always with a creative long term approach and I congratulate the students and their faculty and families on their great result. Our college has always been at its best to provide conducive environment to the students and help them always. In the history of academic achievements, this day has been stated as the Golden day in the history of DAV College Jalandhar. In the end principal Dr B B Sharma , vice principal Prof Vijay Gupta , Vice principal Prof Vijay Sareen congratulated the students on this golden achievement and to the economics faculty - HOD Dr Khurana , Dr Dhawan , Prof Sood , Prof Monika , And Prof Geetika .
Prof Dr Khurana quoted “To create interest in the subjects was our priority, and we never compromised with their studies. We organized free classes on Sundays even which enhanced their concepts of economics and they gained basic knowledge. The free specials classes under "Indian Economics Services" enhanced their concept knowledge and fetched wonderful University results for us"
