423 attend free multispecialty health camp at Bhikhiwind

Bhikhiwind (Tarn Taran) , February 24, 2018: As many as 423 people including BSF personnel attended a free multispecialty health camp at Singhpura village near Bhikhiwind today . The camp was organised by Ivy Hospital, Amritsar in association with 138 BN BSF, Bhikhiwind.

JK Singh, Commanding Officer of BSF 138 Battalion along with Rakesh Panwar, second in command inaugurated the camp.

A team of doctors including Dr Sarabjeet Singh from Neurology , Dr Sumit Mahajan from Orthopedic , Dr Ajay from Gastroenterology, Dr Pardeep Kaur Bajwa from Obstetrics and Gynecology and Dr Rohit Dhawan from General Surgery provided free consultations to the people during the camp. The tests like BP, blood sugar and ECG were offered free of cost in the camp.

Sunil Dhar, GM- Operations, Ivy Hospital, Amritsar said that Ivy Hospital, Amristar is empaneled with all serving BSF employee and their dependents on cashless facility.

He said further that we are committed towards making specialized healthcare services accessible to all sections of society. Through this free medical camp, our endeavour is to address the health concerns of BSF personnel, their family and people of in and around area.
