Chandigarh, October 14, 2015: The Punjab Government has decided to fill 22 vacant posts in the Punjab Civil Secretariat belonging to the clerk cadre through transfer.
An official spokesman while disclosing this said that only the employees serving as clerks in the various Government departments of the State are eligible to apply for the above mentioned posts.
The spokesman further said that the candidates fulfilling all the eligibility conditions of qualification and experience prescribed by the state Government, would have to undergo a Punjabi test the intimation regarding which would be sent later on. The spokesperson said that the applying candidates should have completed their probation period satisfactorily, must be a graduate and should have the working knowledge of Punjabi/English typing.
The spokesperson further said that the eligible and willing candidates should apply with the attested photocopies of certificates of their educational qualifications, details of regular appointment, no-objection certificate from the head of the department, within 1 month of the circular. The applications should be sent to the General Administration Department (Secretariat Establishment-4 Branch), 6th Floor, Punjab Civil Secretariat.
