IamSMEofIndia Team returns to India after rocking Bangladesh

Ludhiana, August 3, 2015: The 18 member strong delegation of IamSMEofIndia led by Mr.Rajive Chawla, Chairman that had gone to Bangladesh for the launch of IamSMEofBangladesh returned after a 5 days successful trip.

Mr. Rajive Chawla informed that the launch event of IamSMEofBangladesh was held in the presence of High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh - Shri Pankaj Saran, Governor of the Central Bank of Bangladesh – Mr. Atiur Rahman, Officials from the European Union in Bangladesh, Mr. Ravindra Nath, Chairman, NSIC – India, Chairmen, Mr. Hossain Khaled, President - Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Managing Directors / CEOs of several Public Sector & Private Banks and Financial Institutions and the who’s who of Bangladesh.   The event was telecast live on more than 15 national and international TV channels and widely published in the leading Newspapers.

Joining Mr. Chawla from India to Bangladesh for this grand launch were Mr Gurmeet Singh Kular (Head, IamSMEofIndia-Punjab and President-FICO),  Mr. Ram Naraian Singh (President, Bhiwadi Chamber of Commerce & Industry),  Mrs Jaya Goyal, Chairperson, WEC (Women Entrepreneur Cell), Mr Madan Chawla, Chief Operating Officer of IamSMEofIndia, some of the Core Team Members of IamsenofIndia and many other eminent entrepreneurs from all across the country.

The five day itinerary included, apart from formal launching of IamSMEofBangladesh, B2B meetings, Panel Discussions by distinguished personalities on Role of an effective MSME Association & the Role of Banks and NBFIs for SME Development in Developing Countries,  Joint Initiatives between IamSMEofIndia & IamSMEofBangladesh and scaling across the globe,  Exclusive Meeting with the Deliberations of IamSMEofIndia and IamSMEofBangladesh,  Training Sessions by Entrepreneurs from India,  Visit to Daffodil University to witness the signing of MOU between the University & IamSMEofBangladesh, Exclusive meeting with the President – Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry on co-operation between India & Bangladesh, Visits to a few SMEs in Dhaka on special requests from the Bangladeshi Entrepreneurs and a grand show by Women Entrepreneurs that won heart by some mesmerising performances on Tagore song, Fashion Shows, Panel Discussions by Women Entrepreneurs on SME2SME Cooperation and a surprise musical skit by IamSMEofIndia team.
