Zoom session on topic ‘smart videos using smart phones’

Jalandhar: Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organised a zoom session on the topic ‘Smart Videos using Smart Phones’ in which the resource person Ms. Anupreet Kaur, Assistant Professor, Department of Applied Art acquainted the staff members with making videos using their smart phones in order to develop the E-content for online classes. 
She said that in the given situation of Covid-19, and the future of education on the campus looking bleak as of now, it is important for the teachers of all subjects to use the different apps available for android as well as ios. She advised the staff members to use video editing softwares such as Inshot, Kinemaster, Filmora Go etc. for android phones and Imovie, Adobe Premium Rush for ios to prepare their own educational videos along with using good accessories like a tripod and microphone.   
These videos could be loaded on Youtube channel and the links could be provided to the students. Dr. Sucharita Sharma, Principal of the college congratulated Ms. Anupreet for sharing such valuable information in such a lucid manner. Dr. Sucharita also added that there is a wealth of information that can be shared by the staff members and this inter-disciplinary approach would enhance our knowledge base.
