Zonal Cricket Tournament launched in Innocent Hearts Loharan Tournament will run for a week

Jalandhar, August 23, 2022: The Zonal Cricket Tournament under Zone-2 started at Innocent Hearts Loharan.  On this occasion, Deputy DEO Rajiv Joshi as the chief guest announced the commencement of the tournament.  The International Referee and President of Sports District Jalandhar, Zonal Head Gurvinder Singh Sangha, DPE Sports Vikram Malhotra, Surinder Kumar International Referee of Judo and secretary of District Tournament, Nikhil Hans, DPE Meritorious School, Black Belt in Taekwondo, were present as special guests.  The tournament started with a ribbon cutting by the chief guest.  In the zonal cricket tournament that started at Innocent Hearts, Loharan Stadium, 16 teams got registered.  The first match took place between the teams of Under-14.  The first match was between Parvati Jain School and Government High School, Lohar Nangal which was won by the team of Government High School, Lohar Nangal.  The second match was held between La Blossom and Innocent Hearts, Loharan and won by Innocent Hearts, Loharan. The third match will be played between the winning team and Innocent Hearts Green Model Town.  

The chief guest and the special guests were honoured byRajeev Paliwal (Principal, GMT) and Shallu Sehgal (Principal, Loharan) by giving mementoes. 

On this occasion, HOD Sports Sanjeev Bhardwaj and Cricket Coach Amit wished good luck to the players.  
Dr. Anup Bowry, chairman of Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust extended his best wishes to the players.
