Ludhiana, December 29, 2015: Indian exports touched USD 323.2 billion in 2014. In the first 11 months of 2015, exports reached USD 243.68 billion. Going by the current trend, we may end up with exports of USD 265 billion in the calendar year 2015 which reflect a decline of 21.9% as compared to calendar year 2014, said Mr S C Ralhan, President, FIEO. Projecting the exports for 2016, Mr S C Ralhan said that since global situation will take some time to improve, a 15% increase in exports may take us to USD 305 billion. However, much will depend on the crude and commodity prices as further softening of them may dampen the growth further.
