Manpreet Singh Chatwal, Chairman, PPCB on Monday reviews the working of CETP operating at Phase- VIII, Focal Point, Ludhiana.
Ludhiana, February 2, 2015: Manpreet Singh Chatwal, Chairman, Punjab Pollution Control Board today paid special visit to review the working of Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) operating at Phase- VIII, Focal Point, Ludhiana.
On his first visit to the plant he was welcomed there by Avtar Singh Chief Executive Officer, Jagatvir Singh Bittu Secretary, Rajinder Singh Sarhali, Daljit Singh Dico, Manmohan Singh Ubhi, Jivan Sood Directors of Ludhiana Effluent Treatment Society.
Chairman PPCB was fully satisfied with the working of the plant. He appreciated the initiatives taken by office bearers of LETS for encouraging Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises units for adaption of latest techniques for bringing desired improvements for effectively controlling pollution to make Ludhiana a Clean & Green city.
