Jalandhar: Ivy World School, under the aegis of Vasal Education, joyfully organised “Twist the Tale – Basant Panchami Kite Making Activity” to celebrate the vibrant and auspicious festival of Basant Panchami, which marks the arrival of spring and is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of wisdom, learning, and creativity.
The thoughtfully planned activity encouraged students to blend creativity with self-reflection while embracing the cultural significance of the festival. With great enthusiasm, students participated in creating and decorating colourful paper kites, symbolising hope, freedom, and new beginnings.
On this special day, students designed and decorated their own paper kites, expressed their dreams, goals, and strengths through writing, and added tail ribbons representing the steps they would take to achieve success.
Through this innovative “Twist the Tale” concept, students were encouraged to rewrite their own stories of success by identifying their aspirations and mapping a clear path toward achieving them. The activity fostered self-belief, positive thinking, creativity, and goal-setting skills among students.
Teachers guided and motivated the children throughout the session, highlighting the values of perseverance, confidence, and continuous learning—core principles associated with the blessings of Goddess Saraswati.
The celebration concluded with a vibrant display of handcrafted kites, reflecting the joy of Basant Panchami and the limitless potential of young minds ready to soar high and shape their own tales of success.
On this joyous occasion, the President of Vasal Education, K. K. Vasal; Chairman, Sanjeev Kumar Vasal; Vice President, Ena Vasal; CEO, Raghav Vasal; and Director, Aditi Vasal, appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers, applauding the initiative for beautifully combining cultural values with experiential learning.
The school management and faculty reiterated that such celebrations help inculcate values of harmony and joy while inspiring students to dream big and believe in themselves.
