World School Celebrates Republic Day with Patriotic Fervour

Jalandhar: Ivy World School, under the aegis of Vasal Education, organized a spirited Republic Day celebration, marked by enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and staff, creating an atmosphere filled with national pride, unity, and respect for the nation’s democratic values.
The celebration began with a special morning assembly, during which students were sensitised to the significance of Republic Day, the hoisting of the National Flag, the Indian Constitution, and the National Anthem. The assembly highlighted how the sacrifices of freedom fighters laid the strong foundation of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity for the nation.
The programme featured a rich array of cultural presentations. Students showcased their talent through a musical band performance, role play, patriotic speeches, dance performances, poem recitations, and Fancy Frolics, beautifully reflecting the spirit of patriotism and India’s cultural diversity. Each performance conveyed a strong message of unity, responsibility, and love for the nation.
Adding colour and creativity to the celebration, Kindergarten Ivyians participated in art and craft activities, creating vibrant models and artworks centred on the core ideals of Republic Day—justice, liberty, and equality. Their joyful expressions and creative work highlighted the importance of nurturing national values from an early age.
The President of Vasal Education, K. K. Vasal, Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, Vice President Ena Vasal, CEO Raghav Vasal, and Director Aditi Vasal shared their thoughts, emphasising that celebrations like Republic Day play a vital role in fostering cultural awareness, moral values, and responsible citizenship among students. The school management and faculty reiterated that such observances serve as a meaningful reminder of India’s glorious heritage and the duties entrusted to every citizen.
