Workshop on “GST and its Implications" 

Chandigarh, October 13, 2023: University Institute of Applied Management Sciences, Panjab University in association with Rashtram Labs, Chandigarh organised a workshop on “GST and its Implications" on Friday. The key resource person for this workshop was CMA Anil Sharma, an expert in taxation and a Member of the Indirect Tax Committee at ICMAI.

CMA Anil Sharma spoke to students at UIAMS about GST and its implications. During his presentation, he also explained the challenges the government faced during its implementation. He also spoke about the importance of GST in helping to create a unified market in India. He stressed on the importance of understanding the complexities of GST and the need for all stakeholders to work together to ensure successful implementation.

Prof. Monika Aggarwal, Director, UIAMS welcomed participants to the workshop. She also encouraged them to take advantage of the resources available to help them become more familiar with the GST system. After the presentation, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and clarify any doubts they had regarding GST's successful implementation.
