“Women Through My Lens”: CWD, UILS Felicitates Photography Competition Winners
The Centre for Women Development (CWD), University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Panjab University, Chandigarh, today organised the award ceremony for the photography competition “Women Through My Lens” at UILS as part of the Diva Dynamics 3.0 celebrations marking the spirit of International Women’s Day.
Chandigarh, March 16, 2026: The Centre for Women Development (CWD), University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Panjab University, Chandigarh, today organised the award ceremony for the photography competition “Women Through My Lens” at UILS as part of the Diva Dynamics 3.0 celebrations marking the spirit of International Women’s Day. The competition encouraged students to capture the strength, resilience, and diverse experiences of women through photography.
The winners of the competition were Prabhjot (1st place), Bhawna Singla (2nd place), and Neha Sharma (3rd place), whose entries stood out for their creativity and powerful visual storytelling.
The programme was organised under the esteemed guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Shruti Bedi, Director, UILS, and Prof. (Dr.) Anupam Bahri, Faculty Coordinator, CWD. The event was further supervised by the Teacher Coordinators, Manisha, Priyanka Goyal, and Avneet Minhas.
The successful execution of the ceremony was ensured through the dedicated efforts of the Student Coordinators, Ruhani (President), Maan Kaur (Convenor), and Harleen and Varsha (Co-Convenors), along with the Event Heads, Shuchi and Kamna, whose coordination contributed significantly to the smooth conduct of the programme.
