Webinar on NSS Day

Chandigarh, September 25, 2021: NSS, Panjab University successfully hosted a Webinar on NSS Day Celebrations to commemorate NSS Day. Celebrations were held in the presence of Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Raj Kumar. More than 700 participants from all over India were a part of this event. Dr. Shankar Sehgal, NSS Programme Officer, gave a warm welcome to all who had gathered for this special celebration. Prof. Ashwani Koul introduced the objectives and accomplishments of NSS Panjab University.
Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh encouraged and inspired the audience for performing their best foot forward in serving the nation. He also stressed upon the need to make NSS as a credit course in education. After an inspiring speech by Honourable Vice Chancellor, the keynote speaker Dr. Pravin Kwatra motivated the audience to live a healthy lifestyle. She touched upon various facets of healthy lifestyle including good breathing and eating habits. Students of Panjab University also gave a captivating cultural performance in this online webinar.
 The program ended with Vote of Thanks by Dr. Naveen Kumar, NSS Programme Officer of UIAMS.
