Valmiki Samaj thanks Haryana Hooda for appointing Rajesh Vaid as member of HPSC

New Delhi, March 8, 2014: Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda has assured the Valmiki Samaj that Haryana Government will take all necessary steps to promote the interests of the Samaj.  Hooda stated this before the members of the Valmiki Samaj, who had come in large number at his New Delhi residence, to express gratitude to  Hooda for appointing  Rajesh Vaid as member of Haryana Pradesh Service Commission.
Hooda said that the State Government has started keeping safai karamcharis on contract basis directly, instead of taking their services through contractors. So far, 11,000 safai karamcharis have been appointed in villages and still more are to be appointed.
Hooda said that Valmiki Samaj has always supported the Congress. We all know that whenever Congress had been out of power, the atrocities on the members of the Valmiki Samaj increased. Congress gets strength from the Valmiki Samaj and has always given honour to the Samaj
Hooda expressed hope that Rajesh Vaid will discharge his duties with honesty, devotion and sense of responsibility, as member of HPSC.
Those present on this occasion included Political Advisor to Haryana CM, Prof. Virender, Ex- MLA, Bantaram Valmiki, Editor of Samaj Sakshi,  Subhash Rohat, Sompal Lohat,  Sanju Bala Advocate,  Meghraj Advocate and a number of other prominent members of the Samaj.
