Under ‘Disha – An Initiative’, Free Eye Check-up Camp and Awareness Campaign Organized on the Occasion of ‘World Sight Day’

Jalandhar, October 09, 2025: Under ‘Disha – An Initiative’ of the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, an awareness campaign titled ‘Love Your Eyes’ was launched to mark ‘World Sight Day’. As part of this initiative, a Free Eye Check-up Camp and awareness sessions were organized to promote eye health and preventive care practices. At Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan, the camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Rohan Bowry (M.B.B.S., M.S. Ophthalmology, F.P.R.S.), Eye Specialist and Deputy Director – Health Services, Innocent Hearts,. A Comprehensive eye examination was provided for faculty members and students, focusing on early detection of vision problems and encouraging regular eye check-ups. Simultaneously, awareness talks were conducted across all campuses of Innocent Hearts Schools — Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt. Jandiala Road, Noorpur Road, and Kapurthala Road. The Health and Wellness Club Ambassadors led informative sessions highlighting the importance of eye care and shared valuable tips on maintaining good vision and eye hygiene. Through this health awareness initiative, the Innocent Hearts Group reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare and holistic well-being, reflecting the compassionate vision of the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust
