UIFT & VD Students Explore Global Textiles and Trends at the 3rd India International Mega Trade Fair
The students of B.Sc. (Honours), University Institute of Fashion Technology and Vocational Development (UIFT & VD), Panjab University, Chandigarh, today visited the 3rd India International Mega Trade Fair as part of their educational exposure program.

Chandigarh, August 28, 2025: The students of B.Sc. (Honours), University Institute of Fashion Technology and Vocational Development (UIFT & VD), Panjab University, Chandigarh, today visited the 3rd India International Mega Trade Fair as part of their educational exposure program.
During the visit, the students gained valuable insights into global textiles, fashion accessories, and home décor trends. They learned about jamdani, baluchari, Chikankari, sanganeer and bagru prints, and so forth and also interacted with exhibitors from across the world. The students explored a variety of stalls featuring accessories from Thailand, dry fruits from Afghanistan, and unique textile and home décor products from different regions of India.
