UIAMS Organises Special Session on “Market Insighting & Analytics”

Chandigarh, December 8, 2025: The University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) conducted a special online session on “Market Insighting & Analytics”. The session was attended by 85 MBA students, who gained valuable insights into the evolving landscape of marketing, consumer understanding, and analytical decision-making.
The session was delivered by Dr. Mohit Manchanda, a distinguished industry expert with over 20 years of experience in marketing and analytics within the telecom sector. Dr. Mohit Manchanda brings extensive experience in New Product Development, Product and Partnership Management, Customer Lifecycle Management, Campaign and Revenue Management, and Data-driven Analytics.
Dr. Manchanda shared practical, actionable learnings with the students. He emphasised the importance of being insightful, engaging in hands-on projects, and developing the habit of writing and ideation. Encouraging students to think in threes, he advised them to always create three solutions to any business challenge—aligning with how humans remember information most effectively.
He further guided students to Don the OIT cap—Observe, Interpret, Think—and reminded them that “You are your own brand,” urging them to stay confident and maintain a positive professional presence.
Earlier, Prof. Anupreet Kaur Mavi, Director, UIAMS, welcomed the speaker and highlighted the relevance of such industry-oriented sessions for management students.
Dr. Amandeep Singh Marwaha, Training-cum-Placement Officer coordinated the event and delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the speaker for his valuable insights and to the participants for their active engagement.
