UIAMS Launches BBA-MBA 5 Year Integrated Programme from Session 2025–26

The University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS), Panjab University, today launched its new BBA-MBA Integrated Programme beginning from the academic session 2025–26. This innovative programme is designed to provide students with a seamless pathway from undergraduate to postgraduate management education, equipping them with strong foundations and advanced managerial competencies.

Chandigarh, August 29, 2025: The University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS), Panjab University, today launched its new BBA-MBA Integrated Programme beginning from the academic session 2025–26. This innovative programme is designed to provide students with a seamless pathway from undergraduate to postgraduate management education, equipping them with strong foundations and advanced managerial competencies.

PU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig, today formally launched the 5 Year BBA MBA Integrated Programme in presence of  DUI Prof. Yojna Rawat, Director, RDC Prof. Meenakshi Goyal, Director UIAMS Dr. Anupreet Kaur Mavi, Prof. Monika Aggarwal and all UIAMS faculty at the PU VC Committee Room.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Vig said that the University has introduced this programme with an aim to shape graduates ready to thrive in the complex, tech-driven global marketplace. She highlighted that this initiative is a unique blend of advanced global management education and the Indian knowledge system.

Prof. Anupreet Kaur Mavi, Director, UIAMS, welcomed and expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Renu Vig, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor. She added that in today's ever-evolving economic landscape, the ability to navigate challenges and harness opportunities requires integrated thinking and adaptive leadership, which this programme aims to instill. She also acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the faculty and the support of the University administration in making this initiative a reality.

Prof. Yojna Rawat, Dean of University Instruction, emphasised that the integrated course provides students with a rare opportunity to embark directly on a continuous path from undergraduate learning to postgraduate studies. She added that the curriculum is holistic and offers multidisciplinary courses focusing on skill development, critical thinking, problem solving, ethical conduct, and nurturing entrepreneurship.

Prof. Kewal Krishan, Dean International Students, noted that Panjab University already has many global tie-ups in the domain of student exchange, faculty exchange, and research, and the University will explore further international collaborations to strengthen this programme.

Prof. Meenakshi Goyal, Dean Research, highlighted that the integrated programme will also open new avenues for research-led learning and innovation, ensuring that students are not only industry-ready but also equipped to contribute to the knowledge ecosystem at national and global levels.

Prof. Sanjeev Sharma, Director IQAC, described the programme as exceptional for its inclusion of personalised mentoring, industry exposure, experiential learning, global curricula, and its mission to produce socially responsible business leaders.

Admissions for the first cohort starting 2025–26 are now open, with a selective intake based on a written test, followed by group discussion and personal interview. The entrance test and subsequent rounds are scheduled for 10 September 2025. Application forms will soon be available on the official UIAMS website.
