UHSR Goes Digital with E-Office, Live File Tracking to Fix Accountability

Rohtak, September 11, 2026: Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak, on Friday launched its e-Office system, marking a major step towards digitising administrative work and improving efficiency.

Vice-Chancellor Dr H.K. Aggarwal, who inaugurated the system, said e-Office was not merely a software rollout but the beginning of a new work culture at the university. The system will eliminate delays caused by physical files, manual noting and movement of files from one table to another.

Under the new system, files and correspondence will be routed digitally to the concerned officials, reducing processing time and paper use. Live file tracking will also enable the administration to monitor where a file is pending and for how long, strengthening accountability and transparency.

Dr Aggarwal said the university aimed to lead not only in healthcare and education but also in administrative efficiency. Technology, he added, should ensure faster and more accessible services for students, employees and the public.

He directed officials and employees to adopt the new work culture, stressing that timely and quality work must be the administration's core principle. Unnecessary delays in matters concerning students, employees and hospital services would not be tolerated, he said.

The Vice-Chancellor also appreciated the e-Office Cell and Palwal University team and directed that all university functions be brought under the e-Office mode at the earliest. Employees have already been trained in using the system.

Registrar Dr Roop Singh, heads of departments and senior officials were present on the occasion.
