Jalandhar, July 29, 2015: Apeejay Institute of Management is going to organize a two-day Induction Programme on August 3, for the students of MBA I MCA I, B Com (Professional) I, BBA I and BCA I. Eminent resource persons have been invited to acquaint the students about the prospects of professional courses in the corporate world. The resource person for the first day will be Dr. Harwinder Singh, Professor, IMT Ghaziabad, one of the top B Schools of the country. Dr. Singh will acquaint the students with the skill-set required to make it big in the corporate world.
The students will also be given an overview of achievements made by the students, evaluation criteria and the activities conducted by various committees like placement cell, entrepreneurship development cell etc. The admissions for few vacant seats in above mentioned courses is going on and it is expected that a good number of students will attend this induction programme.
Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of the institute said, "The purpose of this induction programme is to help the new students develop a sense of camaraderie and to acquaint them with the functioning of the institution. Since Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus believes in personal mentoring and lending unconditional support to its students, all the activities organized during these two days will aim at making students adjust to the new environment easily.
