Students at BCM School, Dugri, Ludhiana on Thursday being given lecture on road safety.
Ludhiana, January 15, 2015: Road safety week is being observed in BCM School, Dugri from January 11 to 17. A special workshop was conducted by the Nodal Officer, Harvinder Singh for all the drivers who are handling school transportation. Dinesh Kumar Sharma addressed all and made them aware of road safety rules. Documents for all the vehicles were checked. Drivers were told to obey all rules and regulations like proper uniform, vehicles to be equipped with name plates, license number, etc. Buses should have safe window panes and must be painted in yellow.
School counselor also held a workshop for class X students regarding the road safety issue. They were encouraged to become responsible citizens of the nation. The School Principal Dr.Vandna Shahi in her remarks highlighted the need to safeguard the precious gift of life on roads.
