TREEBO HOTELS RECOGNISED BY WORLD RECORDS INDIA FOR ITS GUEST DELIGHT INITIATIVE - TREEBO HANGOUTS

Bengaluru, February 9, 2017: Don’t you just love surprises that are given in the most unconventional and unexpected way? At Treebo Hotels, it happens quite often. In September, Treebo Hotels, India’s 3rd largest hotel chain, had announced the launch of an initiative called Treebo Hangouts. Under this initiative, Treebo organizes interesting activities for its guests at the hotels. In December 2016, as a part of this initiative, it carried out Christmas celebrations for its guests. In January 2017, World Records India (managed by Genius Foundation, a non-profit private organization that certifies records autonomously) recognized Treebo for successfully carrying out this activity at such a large scale on a single day. Guests in 170 Treebo properties across 15 states participated in this unique and festive activity.

Ms. Kokila Damodaran, a guest at Treebo Tara Residency, who had participated in the Christmas Treebo Hangout said, “I would like to thank Treebo for hosting this special event on Christmas eve. I was staying away from my family and this warm gesture made me feel at home.”

Commenting on receiving the Award from World Records India, Anshuman Agarwal, Senior Director - Guest Delight said, “Since launching Treebo Hangouts last September, we have organized a wide variety of activities across our hotels ranging from tarot card reading to magic shows to local delicacies on the house.
