Ludhiana, July 15, 2016: Dr Satish Thaman, Member, Grievances Redressal Committee, Ludhiana West Sub-Division has sent a representation to Punjab’s deputy chief minister, requesting for implementation of full benefits of 6th and 7th pay commission recommendations.
According to the representation, the employees/retires of the State of Punjab and other Departments are worst suffers, because of detailed implementation of full benefits of 6th/7th pay commission recommendations on their departments, though it was agreed in principle that all the benefits being given to union government employees/retirees will automatically be transferred to state government and allied department cadres/PSU/PAU/PSPCL/government grant-in-aid recognised schools teachers/ employees/retirees.
He added there was always delayed Tactics of implementations of pay commissions on state government departments/Trusts/Corporation /GLADA/PAU/PSPCL/government grant-in-aid school causing resentment in the minds of employees/retirees pensioners
Further, he demanded that there is dire need to constitute of SIT (Special Investigation Team) to find reasons why there is always delay of implementation of full benefits of 6th/7th pay commissions recommendations on its employees/retirees of the state of Punjab and other allied departments.
Adding, he said till decision is made for full implementation of 6th/7th pay commission recommendations on employees/retirees of all departments, then in this case several employees may retire in coming months and several retirees may leave this universe without availing benefits of pay commission and it will be against fundamental rights and human rights and a struggle to get benefits will start later on.
At the end, he requested to kindly take suitable step for early and full implementation of 6th/7th pay commission benefits on all departments of State of Punjab and allied departments on top priority basis.
The copies of the representation have been sent to the Punjab’s Education Minister and Local Bodies Minister.
