SUPVA’s Dr Sima Pushes Green Growth at Canada Conference
Dr Sima, Director (IT) at Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA), Rohtak, addressed the Third International Conference on Economic Development organised by City Institute of Higher Learning, Canada.
Rohtak, September 11, 2026. Dr Sima, Director (IT) at Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA), Rohtak, addressed the Third International Conference on Economic Development organised by City Institute of Higher Learning, Canada.
Joining the conference online, Dr Sima spoke on “Economic Development vs Environmental Sustainability: Challenges and Solutions.” She stressed the need to balance economic growth with environmental protection and called for greater adoption of green technologies and innovation.
She highlighted renewable and clean energy, energy-efficient buildings, greener industries and transport, circular economy and recycling as key measures for sustainable development. She also underlined the importance of sustainable agriculture, green infrastructure, public transport, and environmental taxes and incentives in driving inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
