SUPVA VC Dr. Amit Arya meets Haryana Governor and CM
Newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of DLC State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA), Rohtak; Dr Amit Arya paid a courtesy visit to Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya at the Haryana Rajbhawan today. The Vice-Chancellor apprised the Governor about recent developments in the varsity, and his potential plans to expand the outreach and activities of the university. The VC also met Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and briefed him about the thrust areas to be worked upon in the near future.

Rohtak, 05 June, 2025: Newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of DLC State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA), Rohtak; Dr Amit Arya paid a courtesy visit to Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya at the Haryana Rajbhawan today. The Vice-Chancellor apprised the Governor about recent developments in the varsity, and his potential plans to expand the outreach and activities of the university. The VC also met Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and briefed him about the thrust areas to be worked upon in the near future.
The VC said post meeting, “Hon’ble Governor and the Chief Minister were pleased to learn about the initiatives and have extended their full support at all levels in this regard. It is our endeavor to provide our students and the youth of the state the opportunity and avenue for nurturing and honing their creative skills. In the next few years, we wish DLC SUPVA to emerge as a cradle of indigenous and art and culture at the national and international level.”
Notably, Dr. Arya joined DLC SUPVA recently with over two decades of distinguished service in journalism and strategic communication. Until recently his previous engagements include a pivotal role as Media Advisor to former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal. He continued to advise the state leadership in Delhi and Chandigarh for nearly nine years. Dr. Arya later held a national portfolio as Senior Media Consultant to the Government of India, designing public communication strategies for Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Chandigarh.
