SUPVA Begins Shoot of Eight Student Music Videos — Month-long schedule to continue till October 12; separate teams handle production
The shooting of eight music video projects by students of the Film and Television (FTV) Faculty at Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA) began on Friday, with the first-day shoots held at outdoor locations.
Rohtak, September 11, 2026: The shooting of eight music video projects by students of the Film and Television (FTV) Faculty at Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA) began on Friday, with the first-day shoots held at outdoor locations.
The shooting schedule will continue till October 12 and is aimed at helping students complete their pending academic projects. FC (FTV) Mahesh TP said the projects are part of the fifth-semester coursework of the 2022 batch and had been pending for some time.
He said Vice-Chancellor Dr Amit Arya has directed that the students’ academic backlog be cleared and all shoots completed within the stipulated timeline.
Separate production teams have been formed for each of the eight music videos, with students taking charge of direction, cinematography, editing and audiography. The university has also deployed unit managers and arranged cameras, lighting equipment, generators and other technical resources for the shoots.
The month-long exercise is intended to ensure timely completion of the students’ pending projects while providing them hands-on experience in different aspects of film production.
