Successful Mediation Workshop 

Chandigarh, April 6, 2024: The Family Law and Alternate Dispute Resolution Centre, Department of Laws, Panjab University, in collaboration with Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh  organised a successful Mediation Workshop on Saturday. 

The workshop, aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of mediation techniques in family law disputes by three eminent speakers Advocate Swarn Sandhir, Advocate Ekta Thakur and Advocate Kunal Vinayak from Punjab & Haryana High Court.

The event, which ran from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, attracted a significant number of students eager to enhance their knowledge and skills in alternative dispute resolution methods. Throughout the workshop, participants engaged in meaningful discussions and practical exercises under the guidance of experienced professionals. The speakers added immense value to the workshop, providing attendees with valuable insights and perspectives gained from their extensive experience in Mediation Centre at the Punjab & Haryana High Court. Workshop inspired and motivated, equipped with practical skills and knowledge that will serve them well in their future legal endeavours. The success of the Mediation Workshop underscores the commitment of Punjab University's Department of Laws to providing quality education and professional development opportunities for its students. Prof. Devinder, chairperson of the department gave a warm welcome to all the guests and participants. Workshop was coordinated by Prof. Supinder and assisted by Dr. Gauri Bajaj.
