Students of PU Girls hostels, Sector 25 organised `Dhiyan di Teej’

Chandigarh, August 1, 2022: Students of Panjab University Girls hostels, Sector 25 organised 'Dhiyan di Teej' today. The Chief guest Prof. Meena Sharma, Director, Central Placement Cell and Former DSW(W) and female guests graced the event. 

Around 150 students and staff decorated the hostel on the theme and participated in all the events enthusiastically. The students showcased their talent by applying Mehandi, making beautiful rangolis and decorating pots in various competitions. 

Around 50 students participated in the cultural event and Miss Teej competition. The winners Manisha (GH-10), Sonam (GH-10), Mandeep (GH-10), Alka (GH-10) and Jashandeep (GH-10) were felicitated with prizes. The event provided a stage to showcase the artistic qualities of the residents and encouraged them for future endeavours. The wardens were present at the occasion and thanked the organizing team of students for their efforts.
