Students of PCM S.D. College for Women Visit Pushpa Gujral Science City

Jalandhar, August 24, 2026: An educational visit to Pushpa Gujral Science City was organized for 15 students, accompanied by Dr. Jyoti Sharma, Department of Physics, and Muskan Kalra, Department of Chemistry.
During the visit, the students attended an informative lecture conducted under the “Yudh Nasheyan Virudh” (War Against Drugs) initiative. The lecture focused on creating awareness among youth about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of making healthy and responsible choices.
After the lecture, the students visited the Drug De-Addiction Gallery at Science City. The gallery provided students with valuable information about drug addiction, its harmful effects on physical and mental well-being, and its impact on individuals, families, and society. The interactive exhibits helped students understand the importance of prevention, awareness, and rehabilitation.
The programme was a meaningful combination of scientific learning and social awareness.
