A district level awareness seminar being organised at government senior secondary school (boys) at Ferozepur on Wednesday.
Ferozepur, October 28, 2015: State government is committed for corruption free administration and to bring transparency in public dealings, this was stated by Ranbir Singh Saini, SSP, Vigilance, Ferozepur.
The SSP was addressing in a district level awareness seminar organised at government senior secondary school (boys) today. The SSP said that everybody will have to come forward to remove the evil of corruption from the state. He said that stern action shall be taken against those who will be found guilty of taking bribery in any case.
Dr. Rameshwar Singh and Dr. Satinder Singh, prominent educationists of Ferozepur region, said that the corruption arouses due to agents who enlace innocent people in their web. Both, Dr.Rameshwar and Dr.Satinder Singh gave a clarion call to the students and encouraged them to show resistance against the evil of bribery.
“A special toll free number 1800-1800-1800 has been arranged. If you have any information regarding corruption, you can give it on this number”, said SSP.
On this occasion, Ashok Behal, Secretary Red Cross, Mukhtiar Singh, DSP Vigilance, Subhash Chander, Inspector Vigilance, Anoop Singh, ASI, Vigilance, Inderjit Singh Gogia and members from senior citizen forum and Agreed Foundation were present.
