Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management inaugurated Meditation Hall 

Ludhiana, December 12, 2022: Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management on Monday observed Ground Breaking ceremony (Bhoomi Pujan) for building new Block in the college, and also the newly built Meditation Hall was inaugurated. 
The Chairman of the Governing Body, SACCM, SP Oswal himself was present on the occasion. DK Sindwani, Secretary, Governing Body, was also present, and expressed their sense of joy for this new development in the college.

Dr. Pooja Mehta, formally welcomed the Chairman SP Oswal and others dignitaries. On the occasion, Prof. Sahil Ghai soulfully recited a few of the sonnets of Sri Aurobindo. The poems which were recited, speak of the India of Sri Aurobindo’s dreams and the life that ought to be.

SP Oswal, the Chairman, said that he didn’t open this college to be run in an ordinary way. This college which is on the name of Sri Aurobindo, is his dream, vision and mission that aims at serving the society. He said, this college does not merely teach books to the students but we make the students philosophically, ecclesiastically, morally, socially, linguistically and physically sound. He further said, that discipline is the hallmark of this college.

Principal, Prof. Dr. Vishal Kumar thanked everyone for attending the event. He assured that the college will keep on doing good to the students and the society at large. He also talked about the upcoming block, and expressed his deep buoyancy over the fact that the building that is going to be would be one of the best architectures in the region.
