Ludhiana, October 20, 2014: Pavilion’s Diwali celebrations made this year’s festival a memorable one for Ludhiana. The mall organised spectacular show of fireworks that lit up the city skyline in a way never seen before. In a first of its kind event in Punjab, over 2500 firecracker shots were fired in a synchronized fashion using special pyrotechnics similar to the ones used in grand international ceremonies such as Commonwealth Games and Asian Games.
Colourful patterns and effects lit up the city skyline with the experience amplified by energetic music and lighting. The mood at the venue was electric and the huge number of visitors that turned up for the show was simply awestruck by this amazing show of light and sound.
Pavilion spokesperson said, “This is our first Diwali celebration in the city and we wanted it to be a special one. This spectacular show of lights is our gift to Ludhiana.”
The show was part of the ongoing ‘Great Pavilion Diwali Shopping Festival’ at the Pavilion. The mega shopping event is offering great deals on top brands to make shopping special during the period. Also, on offer is a range fun-filled activities for the entire family. For instance, visitors can take the best selfie challenge, or try their luck with the Diwali tambola and enjoy a host of other impromptu activities that include numerology, tarot card reader and engaging games.
