SIUPVA VC Dr. Amit Arya wishes luck to team members of Short Film"Life on the Edge"; selected for screening at the 43rd Busan International Short Film Festival
Short Film "Life on the Edge" Director Abhishek Dixit and Sound Designer Akshay Alawadi met the Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya, Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha, FC Mahesh TP of Film and Television Department of Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA) on Monday.
Rohtak, February 1, 2026: Short Film "Life on the Edge" Director Abhishek Dixit and Sound Designer Akshay Alawadi met the Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya, Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha, FC Mahesh TP of Film and Television Department of Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA) on Monday.
The student dua expressed their gratitude to VC Dr. Amit Arya, Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha and other university officials for their positive guidance. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya and others blessed both the students to receive the International Award for 'Life on the Edge' from South Korea.
'Life on the Edge', produced by DLC SUPVA, has been selected for the 43rd Busan International Short Film Festival. Director Abhishek Dixit and sound designer Akshay Alawadi said it would have been impossible without the support of the university administration. The faculty and staff members provided them with a good environment so that they could learn to make films here.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya congratulated both students and said that he is committed to provide better resources and an environment here so that the students of DLCSUPVA continue to achieve success in this way. The students also presented the poster of 'Life on the Age' to the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, and others.
Both students also expressed their gratitude to their mentor Mahesh TP and other teachers Maulee Senapati, Mahendra K Pradhan, Indranil Ghosh, and Debasis Roy. The University's Chief Accounts Officer, Vikas Gulia, announced a cash incentive to both talented students so that other students are motivated to achieve similar accomplishments.
