Shivalik Public School Kindergarten Student Celebrated Annual Sports Day

Mohali, February 24, 2016: Shivalik Public School firmly believes that sports play an integral part of a child's holistic development and so Annual Sports meet 2016 of the Kindergarten wing of Shivalik Public School, Phase 6 Mohali was held on Wednesday.
The function was graced by Director of the school, Mr.D.S. Bedi, Mrs. Anupkiran, Principal of the school. The function was entailed by worthy Director Mr D.S. Bedi as he released the balloons and officiated the event open. Students of class Nursery, L.K.G and K.G. performed various PT exercises and drills using different props like paper flowers, colorful discs, and butterfly wings. The tiny tots looked adorable dressed up in colorful attires. Synchronized movements were seen throughout the events. After this the field events such as tricycle race, teddy bear race, collection of glasses, water balancing race were also organised. So much more was organized. Students looked quite adept while competing with each other. The Director gave away medals and trophies to the winners. The event was declared closed with wise words of the Director who lauded the students for their zeal and invincible spirit and remarked that the school will keep on organising such events to help students learn vital life-skills in their initial year.
