KMV Organises Psycho Fest-2016 to Promote Mental Health

Jalandhar, March 18, 2016: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar Department of Psychology organised a Psycho-Fest to promote mental health. The day- long event was inaugurated by Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi. There was facility of counselling for personality development and dealing with small time and big time crisis in life. The counsellors successfully guided the students and advised them on how to lead a happier and more satisfying life. There was also arrangement of psychological tests ranging from tests related to personality. IQ and attitude tests . For those who wanted to relax, there were mind games of different kinds, which simultaneously rejuvenated and refreshed them. Students and teachers from various faculties participated in the fest. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi observed that such fests were very useful in making the young generation recognize the importance of mental health, which was one of the neglected aspects of human life. She congratulated the organisers for having organised a very successful event.
