Sector 25 Girls Hostels 8, 9, 10 and International Hostel, Panjab University distributed almost 70 blankets

Chandigarh, January 23, 2023: Sector 25 Girls Hostels 8, 9, 10 and International Hostel, Panjab University, Chandigarh distributed almost 70 blankets that were purchased with the funds raised through voluntary donations made under the initiative Rab Di Mehar for helping the needy. The motive behind this initiative is to inculcate the sense of gratefulness among the residents for the blessings all of us are bestowed with and give our bit to the humanity by lending a helping hand to the less privileged. The residents and the staff of these hostels overwhelmingly made contributions for this noble cause.
The blankets were distributed at various construction sites primarily to the females with the assistance of Dr. Gaurav Gaur, Chairman of the Department of Social Work. Dr. Shipra Gupta, warden Girls Hostel 9 accompanied the hostel residents for distributing the blankets.
