KMVites selected for Prestigious Internship at Adampur Airport

Jalandhar, June 30, 2025: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) five exceptional students from the inaugural batch of the BBA in Airlines and Airport Management program have been selected for a prestigious 45-day Summer Training and Internship at Adampur Airport, Jalandhar, Punjab. This achievement underscores the talent and dedication of KMV students and the institution’s commitment to excellence in aviation education. The selected students will gain practical experience in airport operations, airline management, and customer service under the guidance of Adampur Airport, a key domestic airport and Indian Air Force base serving Jalandhar and Hoshiarpur. This opportunity, facilitated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), aligns with the industry-oriented curriculum of KMV’s BBA program, which blends practical training with academic rigour. The internship will provide hands-on exposure to critical areas such as passenger handling, safety protocols, and coordination with airlines like Star Air. This experience will prepare the students for rewarding careers in roles such as airport manager, ground staff manager, and aviation safety manager. The selection process was highly competitive, with candidates evaluated based on academic excellence, aptitude for aviation operations, and interpersonal skills.
