Chandigarh, September 9, 2022: Panjab University organized it’s second lecture as part of the reputed Colloquium series today. The renowned Social Scientist,  Dr Zaheer Khan was the distinguished speaker. The theme of his lecture revolved around the largest national health survey i.e, NHFS data and the progress in health indicators in the past five years. Dr. Khan presented a comparative analysis of NHFS-4(2015-16) and NHFS -5 (2019-21) based on his vast experience. He stressed on the importance of NHFS which provides national, state and district level data for formulation of government policies at all levels. He ended on the note that academicians in Panjab University tap into this rich corpus of data . 

Professor Kashmir Singh, Secretary to Vice-Chancellor welcomed the speaker. Professor Renu Vij, Dean of University Instructions gave a brief overview of the Colloquium series. Professor Monica Munjial, Coordinator PU Colloquium gave the formal vote of thanks.
