SEC appoints 2 senior IPS Officers as police observers for Tarn Taran & Ferozepur

Chandigarh, February 25, 2015: Keeping in view the sensitivity of situation, the State Election Commission has appointed two senior Police Officers from Punjab Police Headquarter, Chandigarh, as Police Observers in Tarn Taran and Ferozepur for election on February 25.

Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the State Election Commission said that Nilabh Kishore, IPS DIG/Crime has been appointed the Police Observer for the Tarn Taran and Shive Kumar Verma, IPS DIG/ Admn. has been appointed Police Observer for the Ferozepur. He said that these Police Officers have been instructed to immediately leave for their place of duty.
