Jalandhar, August 29, 2025: Sanskriti KMV School, Jalandhar celebrated National Sports Day with great zeal and pride, paying tribute to the legendary Indian hockey player Major Dhyan Chand and his glorious legacy.
The celebration began with the School Principal, Rachna Monga, offering floral tribute to Major Dhyan Chand’s portrait. Addressing the gathering, including Sports Department, she highlighted that “Sports are not just about winning or losing; they are about discipline, confidence, and the spirit of teamwork. If our students embrace a healthy lifestyle and participate actively in sports, they will play a crucial role in building a strong and healthy society.”
The Principal further motivated the students to bring out their hidden talents through games and sports, and to follow the ideals of Major Dhyan Chand in their lives. She also conveyed warm wishes to all the young players of the school through online platforms.
