‘Rukhsat 2026’ – A Memorable Farewell Celebration at GGNIMT

Ludhiana, April 13, 2026: Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT) organized a heartfelt and vibrant farewell ceremony, ‘Rukhsat 2026’, to bid a warm adieu to its final-year students. The event celebrated the accomplishments and cherished memories of students from diverse courses including BBA, B.Com (Hons.), BCA, BHMCT, B.Sc. (Fashion Designing), MCA, and MBA.
The campus resonated with enthusiasm and joy as students presented a variety of cultural performances. Energetic dance routines and melodious singing performances added charm to the celebration, creating an electrifying and festive atmosphere.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director of GGNIMT, extended his best wishes to the graduating students and encouraged them to take thoughtful decisions as they step into the next phase of their lives. Dr. Harpreet Singh, Principal of GGNIMT, also conveyed his heartfelt blessings and motivated students to strive for excellence in their future endeavors.
A highlight of the event was the farewell contest, organized to recognize the personality, confidence, and style of the outgoing students. Gagandeep Kataria from BCA 6 and Khushi from BCOM 6 were awarded the titles of Mr. Personality and Miss Personality respectively. Bhavya from BCA 6 and Harman from MCA 4 were awarded the titles of Mr. Handsome and Miss Beautiful. Javed Akhtar from MBA 4 and Nandini from MBA 4 were awarded the titles of Mr. and Miss Well Dressed. Madhav Ahuja from BBA 6 and Sonalika from BCOM 6 received the prestigious titles of Mr. and Miss Farewell 2026.
In the postgraduate category, Shrey and Aarushi from MBA 4 were crowned Mr. and Miss Farewell 2026, in recognition of their overall personality, confidence and presence.
