Rotaract Club Installation Ceremony Held at PCM S.D. College for Women
PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, witnessed an inspiring moment as the Installation Ceremony of the Rotaract Club was held with great enthusiasm and solemnity. The event, organized under the aegis of Rotary Club Jalandhar West, was graced by the esteemed presence of Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar, who presided as the chief guest.

Jalandhar, September 24, 2025: PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, witnessed an inspiring moment as the Installation Ceremony of the Rotaract Club was held with great enthusiasm and solemnity. The event, organized under the aegis of Rotary Club Jalandhar West, was graced by the esteemed presence of Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar, who presided as the chief guest.
The ceremony commenced with a cordial welcome to the distinguished Rotarians, President Dr Pooja Kapoor, Secretary Dr. Navneet Arora, Former District Officer Dr S.P. S. Grover.
Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar, in her address, applauded the initiative of forming the Rotaract Club and emphasized the importance of instilling in students the values of leadership, civic responsibility, and service to humanity. She encouraged the members to contribute actively to community welfare projects, uphold the spirit of social responsibility, and lead by example.
Rtn. Kuldeep Singh, Rtn. Tarsem Singh, Rtn. Harwinder Singh and the Incharges of the Rotaract Club Kawaljit Kaur and Seema Tiwari and other members of the rotaract club also witnessed the event.
The newly elected office-bearers of the Rotaract Club were formally installed during the ceremony. Romal Yadav assumed the role of President, with Kavya as Vice President, Harshita as Secretary, and Simran as Treasurer. The executive team includes Neha, Harman Kaur, Jaswinder Kaur, Sumeshtha, Mosumi, Arpita, Khushi, and Khushpreet.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Rotary Club dignitaries, faculty members, and students for their active participation and support.
This installation ceremony marked a renewed commitment towards fostering leadership, nurturing compassion, and promoting collaborative efforts for social development, an ethos that the college continues to uphold with pride.
President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Dr Pooja Prashar applauded the efforts the entire team that continues to nurture leadership, social consciousness, and community engagement among students.
